Class fee is $390 which includes 25 pounds of clay, instruction, throwing, glazing and firing.
Experience the Zen of creating functional works of art. In this class, students will learn the techniques for wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery from raw clay to finished vessel from an experienced, involved teacher. Classes are small in size and have participants of various ability from beginner to advanced. Therefore, instruction focuses on the processes of pottery and is individualized to meet each student's skill level and goals.
Classes are held once a week and run for 8 weeks.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 6:30 to 9:00pm
Tuesday or Thursday Afternoon 12:00 to 2:30pm
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday Morning 9:00 to 11:30am
STUDIO RENTAL
Experienced, independent potters can rent studio time for $15 per hour. This includes use of all studio materials, tools and firing of your pieces, but does not include instruction or clay. Items made at home will incur an additional firing fee.
Items left untouched for more than 30 days will be discarded.
