Handmade by Karen Amundsen in her family's renovated barn in Branchburg New Jersey.. This functional, yet decorative, coffee mug feels wonderful in the hand. The unique thumb rest sits perfectly. The best part is the clay keeps your coffee hot longer than traditional mugs.
It was thrown on the wheel from a tan clay. The slab handle and thumb rest were attached at the leather hard stage. Then, it was fired to a gorgeous, watertight glaze which is microwave and dishwasher safe.
